Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling I am able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Counselling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Sessions can be held online or face to face depending on location.
I also provide therapy for anyone who has experienced sexual abuse and/or sexual assault, resulting in sexual trauma. Sexual assault is an act that is carried out without a person's active consent. This means you did not agree to it. Reaching out for support can be difficult and you may feel like this if you have tried to reach out to friends or family members in the past. You could be feeling guilt and shame and this is often a major inhibitor for many before finally taking those necessary steps towards seeking counselling.
